October Update: Highs and Lows. Our first payday came October 10th, and it is nice to have some cash in our pocket here. While we have plenty of cash saved in our emergency fund to fly home at any point, we had not been paid since the end of July in Milwaukee, essentially going all of August and September without any income. Thursday, April 30, 2015. A perfectly beautiful summer-like day, and those two beautiful faces have put me in just the right mood to finally get the blog going again. We had such a fun day yesterday – playing at the school play ground after school for hours, gardening, rope swinging, playing in the dirt, stripping down to underwear because its “SO HOT Mommy! 8221;, letting the chickens out to get some sunshine, and eating lunch and dinner outside for the first time this year.
