JUST BREATHE OUTSIDE: September 2013
http://justbreatheoutside.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Friday, 20 September 2013. In 5 days I am flying off and away. I am leaving my kids for 5 whole days! It is both scary and really exciting at the same time. I don't really like the idea of leaving my littles (I know my big kids will be fine as they have been away from me before). Jaxen is 28 months old and has NEVER been away from mama overnight.like NEVER! It has been almost 3 years since I stepped foot in my favourite city. I am so excited! 1 Sleeping in.any mom can understand this one! 3 Being fashion...

JUST BREATHE OUTSIDE: AFTER THE RAIN...
http://justbreatheoutside.blogspot.com/2014/07/after-rain.html
Sunday, 20 July 2014. Today was BITTERSWEET. It needed to happen and was highly anticipated, but it wasn't easy. Kevin went back to work today after being off work for 6 weeks. No, it wasn't a planned vacation. It was a site safety lock out, so essentially my husband was off work very unexpectedly. It was so unexpected that all his work gear and clothes were still at the job site since the lock down happened while he was on time off. IT's a laying frenzy in the coop:). So tonight as I lay my head down, I...

JUST BREATHE OUTSIDE: November 2013
http://justbreatheoutside.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 12 November 2013. So many plastic penises. You see, a Karezza practice and Passion Parties do NOT compliment each other like baked potatoes and sour cream. The two are more like peach cobbler with HP steak sauce thrown on. Not well suited at all and rather awkward to say the least. You get what I am saying? Think of passion and love like a balloon, that fills up through the act of lovemaking and expands further and further.until.it POPS (orgasm) and the love and intense passion suddenly ...That ...

Friday, February 14, 2014. One of My (many) Favorites. I Was Mean to You Today. And I was impatient. You were trying to explain. Why I must reorganize the files. On my computer, why. They all have to have project numbers,. Why I can't put them. Where they've always been,. What the tax consultant said,. What you need for your report. To the Board of Directors,. And it boiled down to my files. Have to be re-filed, and they. Have to have titles with no more. Than twelve letters to leave room. Except it's in...

Thursday, September 11, 2014. Daily outdoor free play is a basic child right. It's not a reward for doing well; it's not a treat. It's a need. And half an hour at recess doesn't cut it. I wish I could give my kids what my parents gave me and my siblings: fields and woods and creeks and time to explore it all. Links to this post. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Half Measure, Full Measure. I finally had a chance yesterday –yes, in the middle of the work week! 8211; to pull out all this stuff and use it.

tiny yellow bird: The Lobster and the Crab
http://tiny-yellow-bird.blogspot.com/2014/06/the-lobster-and-crab.html
Friday, June 13, 2014. The Lobster and the Crab. A fable by Arnold Lobel. On a stormy day, the Crab went strolling along the beach. He was surprised to see the Lobster preparing to set sail in his boat. Lobster," said the Crab, "it is foolhardy to venture out on a day like this.". Perhaps so," said the Lobster, "but I love a squall at sea! I will come with you," said the Crab. "I will not let you face such danger alone.". The crashing of every wave takes my breath away! The little boat capsized and sank.

tiny yellow bird: Like New
http://tiny-yellow-bird.blogspot.com/2014/09/like-new.html
Monday, September 8, 2014. This is where my kids sleep now. There's this Tomie dePaola book my kids love about a little girl whose constant is her quilt. Through all life's changes, new houses, new schools, new friends, she has one thing that always feels like home. I'm glad my kids have quilts because they need them these days. Last week, I climbed into the attic at Irene. And brought down the quilt Gramere made for me. It. September 9, 2014 at 1:36 PM. Hugs to you and the kiddos*.

Tuesday, September 9, 2014. So, our wage system and the cost of living are based on the assumption that two adults support every household. Such is not the case. Oh, no. There are all sorts of families, you know, and a lot of them don't have two grown-ups bringing in money. Lots of them don't even have two grown-ups. Apropos of nothing, as Dumas might say.
