Saturday, January 21, 2012. Life has been so busy for me lately, but this week I set a goal to make a new purse, and thankfully I was able to achieve that goal! The book that I got this pattern from was given to my Mom and I, by our friend Alicia Veldman, so thanks Miss Alicia, for instigating this endeavor! Here is what I started with:. Which then became this:. Now both handles are finished:. And a side view:. Saturday, January 21, 2012. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Welcome to our Blog! Where Will We Be?

Saturday, February 25, 2012. I have become obsessed with hand-sewing felt projects lately! This is a felt checkbook cover, with a flannel embellishment on the front. I used a blanket stitch around the edge to finish it. Close-ups on the applique/embroidery:. Saturday, February 25, 2012. One of my more recent projects was made from this book - "One-Yard Wonders" by Rebecca Yaker and Patricia Hoskins. It has amazing ideas and designs, that you can make from just one yard of fabric. Monday, January 20, 2014. We needed a model for one of our owls, and thankfully this little sweetie was ready to step-up and help us out! I hope you like this little owl, and we look forward to having many more at our booth this summer for you to see! As far as our model goes, please pray for Abby. She was recently diagnosed with cancer, and has a long road of recovery ahead. She is constantly in our thoughts, and we pray for the Lord to heal her body of this sickness. Monday, January 20, 2014. Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Well, last Friday we spent almost the entire day at a friend's house, just sewing away! It was a wonderful time of sweet fellowship around our sewing machines. =] (I also loved the help of two fabulous girls, Abby and Kaylie, as I was putting together some new owls) Here are some pictures of that fun day! All three of us had our machines up and running! I love these sweet little ladies! My favorite owl that we made that day. Fun prints, before adding some embellishments. Our sew...

Our sewing machines are rarely idle and our iron stays hot - and you know what? I've been making some really cute quilted hot pads/pot holders. I've been using up a TON of my wonderful scraps to make these. And I love the black and white chevron for the binding. HOPE YOU'LL STOP AND SEE US AT THE MARKET. Thursday, May 16, 2013. After ...

Monday, February 24, 2014. We're Getting All Matchy-Matchy. Mom has been very busy making these adorable totes and matching pouches! Swinger was such a great little model for us! I got him when I was an 8 year old in the hospital for a surgery, and he's still brightening my day as a 19 year old. These travel pouches are so much fun! I love the way Mom pieced together fabric for a patchwork look. Monday, February 24, 2014. Friday, February 21, 2014. These are made from super soft fleece and flannel, and a...
