http://krissieinserra.blogspot.com/2012/05/my-babys-not-baby-anymore.html
Ty and Tommy's Mommy. Notes on life in Tallahassee from a pastor's wife and mother of two busy boys. Monday, May 28, 2012. My Baby's Not a Baby Anymore. Yesterday this little man turned two. He had a fun little family party, got his own Mickey Mouse cake (it didn't turn out too bad, huh! And got to eat his own mini ice cream cone. In his car seat. Which makes it infinitely cooler. Ty and Tommy's Mommy: Has Anyone Ever Done This?
http://krissieinserra.blogspot.com/2011/10/yesterday-i-did-something-completely.html
Ty and Tommy's Mommy. Notes on life in Tallahassee from a pastor's wife and mother of two busy boys. Friday, October 21, 2011. Has Anyone Ever Done This? Yesterday I did something completely irrational and not very me-like. I'd like to blame it on age (I'm less than six weeks from being 30! Or just getting too little sleep. But in reality, I can only blame it on one thing: a complete lack of trust in the God that I follow. Reply if you know anything about their situation! October 25, 2011 at 10:39 PM.

Lucky Number 13. | Take It On The Run
https://takeitontherunbaby.wordpress.com/2014/01/03/lucky-number-13
Take It On The Run. Moments of clarity in a mom's world. January 3, 2014. January. A month filled with resolutions, promises, new disciplines. There is so much pressure to create a New Year’s resolution, isn’t there? As a recovering perfectionist, I keep trying to create New Year’s resolutions, or maybe just one, but, of course, none of them are “just right.”. I love who I became in 2013. I love what I learned about myself, because I surprised myself. I am a runner. I’m a southerner. You are commenting u...

Homeless | Take It On The Run
https://takeitontherunbaby.wordpress.com/2013/12/20/homeless
Take It On The Run. Moments of clarity in a mom's world. December 20, 2013. I’ve been feeling a little homeless lately. As a fairly intuitive person, I can recognize easily the moment in which the person to whom I’m speaking realizes that I’m not “from ’round these parts.” (Yes, I enjoy using overly southern phrasing these days, because it amuses me.) “You’re from Florida, right? So why the homeless feeling? He was born in an obscure village. The child of a peasant woman. Until he was thirty. He did none...

A Day That I Need to Remember. | Take It On The Run
https://takeitontherunbaby.wordpress.com/2013/12/03/a-day-that-i-need-to-remember
Take It On The Run. Moments of clarity in a mom's world. A Day That I Need to Remember. December 3, 2013. I was so tired, heading to work today. SO tired. I mean, bone-dragging tired. I had no idea what I was in for. The day was slow, nondescript, like my winter. Grains of sand, falling. Checking things off of the list. Even my run was slow, calculated, steady. Until 6pm. Chloe – my calm, quiet, unassuming, teddy-bear of a staff person, not yet 23 years old, yells, “MEAGAN! 8221; and three men look up at...

Ty and Tommy's Mommy: October 2011
http://krissieinserra.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Ty and Tommy's Mommy. Notes on life in Tallahassee from a pastor's wife and mother of two busy boys. Saturday, October 29, 2011. The streak lives. I cannot get through a wedding without crying during the mother/son dance. That started when we attended Todd and Judi Doss's wedding the weekend after we found out Tommy was going to be a boy. That was 5 1/2 years ago. And I don't even have to know the couple getting married! I feel awful about that! But I have to admit it's nice to not have a rotten stinky p...

Ty and Tommy's Mommy: August 2011
http://krissieinserra.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Ty and Tommy's Mommy. Notes on life in Tallahassee from a pastor's wife and mother of two busy boys. Friday, August 5, 2011. Lately in our house Tommy's been going around singing most of the chorus from "Baby" by Justin Bieber. It just kind of came out of nowhere a few months ago and after he had been doing it for about a week or so, I asked him, "Tommy where did you hear that? His reply (as though I just crawled out from under a rock), complete with an eye roll, was "Come on, Mom. It's Justin Beaver!

Ty and Tommy's Mommy: Fall Things I'm Looking Forward To
http://krissieinserra.blogspot.com/2011/10/fall-things-im-looking-forward-to.html
Ty and Tommy's Mommy. Notes on life in Tallahassee from a pastor's wife and mother of two busy boys. Monday, October 10, 2011. Fall Things I'm Looking Forward To. 1 The smell of cinnamon everywhere I go. 2 Sprinkling cinnamon in my coffee. I know I can do it year round and it's very healthy, but it's so much more fun in fall! 3 Great oatmeal concoctions. A bowl of oatmeal is incredibly boring without lots of fun things in it! 4 Leaving the AC off. 9 Baking cookies. Need I say more? Blogs I Like to Read.

Ty and Tommy's Mommy: 'Round Here
http://krissieinserra.blogspot.com/2011/12/round-here.html
Ty and Tommy's Mommy. Notes on life in Tallahassee from a pastor's wife and mother of two busy boys. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Well it's been six weeks since my last post. And I suppose it's been a little busy. Here's what it's been like 'round here in a nutshell:. My pumpkin carving was a success. I bought and carved it the night before Halloween and it had begun to rot two days later. Just when you're supposed to throw it away anyway. We had family pictures taken by the amazing Jennifer Powell. The f...
