What I'd do without my technologically inclined friends, I really don't know. Anyway, I thought this might be an easy way to update folks during my stay in the Dominican Republic. A year (or two) in Bánica. Tuesday, October 24, 2006. The road wasn’t the greatest, but you really don’t feel that many bumps from up top. There were a couple scary-ish spots, though, where the road kind of dropped off without too much room to spare on the sides, and down in one of the little valleys we did see what seemed to be a burned up truck frame that must have gone too close to the edge a while back.
