In addition to the house, Dave's aunt and grandmother ran a little 'junk' store.a pretty famous landmark for the old Chapin area. So, as a bonus to a potential rental property, we have an established store on our hands. Dave and I are thinking open air market for local/handmade/homemade products.but this is still a work in progress. We're hoping to at least get it open in the spring with local veggies. Learning As I Go. Thursday, January 19, 2012. Yup, yummy, warm, soft, cookies! Who doesn't love cookies. So I decided to get my butt in gear and get to baking! So I gathered my ingredients. Flour, oats, raisins, butter, sugar, vanilla, egg, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Then I got to work beating the butter and sugars together until they were creamy! Doesn't that just look like the beginning of something wonderful and magical? Added in my egg and vanilla. And mixed those together to yummy goodness!

Thursday, October 27, 2011. My great friends in Augusta threw me a very unique shower last weekend. The theme was 'Welcome Pumpkin" and completely awesome! Mabye they chose it b/c it was Fall, maybe b/c they noticed I call all their kids pumpkins. not sure - but it was great! Complete with pumpkin 'banners'. Painted pumpkins welcoming 'lil pumpkin and Baby M. And a table full of fall festivus and pumpkin food (pumpkin bread (my fave! Pumpkin cupcakes, pumpkin truffles. YUM! OUR story. OUR family.}. We spent our Sunday at my grandmas as usual. Jeremy was an usher at church and did a wonderful job. Looked like a stud, of course. :). Keaton and I. Well, we got in a selfie before church. Later that day, Jeremy and I enjoyed some time on the swing. Like we do most nights. But I started a BAD habit:. OUR story. OUR family.}. These two have my heart. Weekends get me excited to spend time with my little booger. As soon as school gets out on Fridays, I can't wait to go grab her. Sometimes we go home just to play and sometimes we stop by Bob Bob and Pops house. When we go there, we get to play. Lakeside. And sometimes, land is what she prefers. Ha.
