Our Little Valentines: May 2011
http://littlevalentine.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 3, 2011. First thing Easter morning we gave Noah his new Bible and talked to him about what Easter really means. He'll still tell you that it's about eggs and Easter baskets if you ask him though. We're working on it. Chloe liked the grass - until she got some in her mouth. All dressed up. I wonder when Noah will stop freaking out if we try to take a family picture without him holding at least one car or truck. I just love this picture. Special time with Papa. And he loves lollipops. Avec De...
Our Little Valentines: One Year, 12 Months, 365 Days.
http://littlevalentine.blogspot.com/2012/11/one-year-12-months-365-days.html
Wednesday, November 7, 2012. One Year, 12 Months, 365 Days. We have been in Gillette now for an entire year. It almost doesn't seem possible that so much time has passed, until I glance over at my now 5 month old Gracie. Life is good. It's not perfect, but I am constantly reminded that God is in control and has purpose in all things. All things. One year in and things are good, because God is good. He is intentional and is so kind to us when we don't even begin to deserve it. November 7, 2012 at 7:32 AM.
Our Little Valentines: January 2012
http://littlevalentine.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 27, 2012. I'm not completely sure where the tears came from. There are so many new things she says or does these days. This particular one just blind-sided me. My Chloe is a little girl. Not a baby. Uh-oh, the tears are a-comin again. I guess Noah couldn't be outdone by his sister. Yesterday he looked at me and said, "Mommy, I think you need to take me to preschool.". This growing up thing is just happening way too fast for my taste. Monday, January 16, 2012. Ten Weeks in.Wyoming. When wa...
Our Little Valentines: September 2011
http://littlevalentine.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 25, 2011. We're moving. To Wyoming. In about 5 weeks. Yes really. Matt has a new job as a goldsmith and jewelry designer at a jewelry store in Gillette, Wyoming. This isn't something we were looking for or even had any idea would happen a month ago. It's come up that suddenly. Here are some quick takes that will hopefully answer any questions you may have:. Matt will be leaving in mid-late Oct, will work for 2-3 weeks and then fly back to drive across the country with us. Oh, and hey, I...

Wednesday, September 5, 2012. We have been very busy with visitors in the last couple of months. First my dad, then Aunt Linda, Uncle Les and Joelle. My sister came in August and our dear friends the Lookabills were just here last week. Matt's mom is coming next week and my mom a few weeks after that. Phew. Quite the revolving door we've had. Here's a quick glimpse of what the past couple of months have been like. Grace was about a month old here. And yes, Noah really needed a haircut. The boys were too ...
Our Little Valentines: June 2012
http://littlevalentine.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 25, 2012. Who do you think Gracie looks like? One of the most common questions we've gotten since having Grace is, "who does she look like? What do you think? Below are pictures of each kid at around 2 weeks. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Noah, dutiful big brother that he is, immediately started telling us what Grace wanted. He brought her some toys, told us that she wanted her hat off, etc. He thinks he knows exactly what she wants at all times and is super helpful. N: Can I hold Baby Grace?
Our Little Valentines: March 2012

Tuesday, March 6, 2012. MRI and Chic-fil-a: Always a Silver Lining. On the flip side, we also learned that I definitely do have placenta previa (we knew previously that there was a chance). The US (oh yes, I've already had to have 2 of the not as fun kind of USs.yuck) showed that I may have one of these more serious conditions: placenta accreta, increta and percreta. For you prayer warriors out there, here are some specifics to pray for:. Good weather (to make for safe driving to Denver) for our trip.
Our Little Valentines: Naomi Grace Valentine, The Birth Story
http://littlevalentine.blogspot.com/2012/06/naomi-grace-valentine-birth-story.html
Monday, June 11, 2012. Naomi Grace Valentine, The Birth Story. Wednesday, June 6 at 11:32 AM we welcomed sweet Naomi Grace into the world. She weighed in at 7lbs, 2oz and was 18 inches long. A two pound difference may not seem like a lot after a few years, but for us it is a startling difference. She's so tiny and amazingly sweet.she already has us wrapped around her teeny little fingers. Grace and Me after my 2nd procedure. Matt giving Gracie a bottle. Just like her brother.this girl likes to eat! To Be...
Our Little Valentines: A New Sister

Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Noah, dutiful big brother that he is, immediately started telling us what Grace wanted. He brought her some toys, told us that she wanted her hat off, etc. He thinks he knows exactly what she wants at all times and is super helpful. Chloe couldn't take her eyes off of Grace. She kept giggling and saying, "Baby Grace is so tiny," or "Baby Grace is so funny! About twice every hour I have a conversation with the kids that goes something like this:. N: Can I hold Baby Grace? Who do ...

Fridays with Phil – Life, family and unshakeable faith
Life, family and unshakeable faith. About MND / ALS. Photo of Wanaka, New Zealand by @rachstewart nz. Have you ever thought about your peak performance? When have you been, are you, or will you be at your peak? The idea of a peak suggests that there is a tipping point towards your best and that either side of that point is less than the ultimate state of the peak. That’s physically speaking, but my experience in. Other way, suggests otherwise. Maybe you live aware of your own peak? What do I mean by that?

Fridays with Samuel
Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Thursday, 10 May 2012. I have been very lax in updating this blog for the past few weeks for a myriad of reasons - mainly though, I'd started to feel like I'd done. Everything there was to do on a Friday with Samuel so felt very uninspired to write. Again a few times for Experitots. Been on holiday to a rainy Scarborough and visited Eureka! To see The Casablanca Steps. Monday, 19 March 2012. For a ...

Fridays with the Fords. Thursday, January 14, 2016. Tuesday's Think Kit prompt - " Scents have the power to take us all kinds of places. What smell takes you somewhere else? Smells are important. Especially the smell of blueberry muffins on Christmas morning that wafted through my home growing up. It's a rather innocuous smell but one that's really left an imprint on me. For this Think Kit blog post, we're prompted to discuss our mentors. In my case, my mom and dad immediately come to mind. At th...My da...
