AEG/Telefunken Magnetophon M15A/Console 800. 近來研究盤帶機, 主要是想要一探類比錄音技術的最高峰. 在目前使用Decca London Jubilee唱頭所能播放出的高密度音質下, 我不禁好奇, 類比磁帶的記錄與播放到底可以能夠有怎樣的超越以及逼真度. 才得以超越78rpm的錄音, 帶來所謂真正的High Fidelity recording. 當然這被視為納粹德國最高機密的磁帶機技術也要一直等到盟軍1945年佔領德國, 取得當時AEG的機台後, 美國, 英國, 法國和蘇聯才藉由copy AEG的技術發展出自己的磁帶錄音系統. 美國的Ampex也因此誕生. 當然, 對歷史錄音迷值得一提的是, 從1943年到1945年, 德國已經應用Magnetophon技術, 大約留下了250捲珍貴的立體聲(!
