The Nursing Home Volunteer Auxiliary, Inc. Was founded by the Gainesville Woman's Club in 1983. Friends Across the Ages is a 501(c)(3) charity, so donations are federally tax-deductible. Donations go towards supplies for events at nursing homes, volunteer appreciation, and our quarterly newsletter, "The Bridge". Our only paid staff member is our 10-hour per week Administrative Coordinator.
