Sunday, December 14, 2008. She was standing on the corner at a traffic light and I pulled up beside her. She was about 30 years old and wearing a large black puffy coat with a hood. Her simple sign asked for financial help. I do not normally give away money in this manner, but something stirred inside of me. I wanted to say. Instead I just told him that sometimes people have a tough time and need help and it's good to give to people even if you don't know them. Crazy, Busy, Mama ("CBM").

Friday, October 31, 2008. I decided to vote early yesterday and headed to my local polling site mid-afternoon. I saw the usual signage as I made my way closer to the building. I was even pleased with the fact that the line looked managable; I was in and out in about 65 minutes. I saw moms with their children, elderly couples, people in wheel chairs and on oxygen.
