I’m going to make myself a tunic top using a patchwork of rectangles. 1 ball per rectangle. Fits in my little carry bag and very quick. ( we’ll see if it fits me in the autumn). February 14, 2015. I have been making a lot of blankets. In a bit of a new obsession. First of all I used the lovely Willen strips I’d bought at the knitting and stitching show and sewed them across a new ikea blanket. Then I used a pinterest idea and made my version of a mermaid sleeping bag. And then it started snowing and I decided I needed to use up a big bag of wool oddments I had. using size 10 needles 4 balls of wool at a time. 20 stitches x 200 rows x 4 strips. Size 15 needles 8 balls at a time.
