Not exactly a project but river cleanup is an ongoing project. Part of trail being constructed. Wildflower walk (marsh marigolds). Landing rebuilt as part of stairway reconstruction project. Our new benches along new trail. Entrance Garden cleared and replanted. Calming traffic in park. Restored patio at Kilbourntown House.

Disc golfing on the new 18 hole course in the park Watching the dogs in the new Dog Park in Estabrook Park. Or just enjoying nature in the park. Ther park activities include. 8203; and berry picking.

We are a group who participate in various activities to maintain and improve Estabrook Park. We have cooperated with the Milwaukee County Parks Department and the Milwaukee Historical Society in maintaining this historic park. We have sponsored nature walks for the community, have replanted several degraded areas and have constructed trails and repaired stairs, have participated in weedouts and river cleanups. April 30, Garlic Mustard weedout, meet at 9:00 in maintenance building lot, help get rid of. This weed that's crowding out our native flowers. May 4-7, Beer Garden opening: start of Maifest. Before it was a park. The first reported permanent settler of the park area was Thomas Bare who, in 1841, purchased 90 acres of land east of the river and north of Capitol Drive near the Channel 6 tower.
