Friends of Hendricks Park is a membership-based 501(c)(3) organization, committed to stewardship and restoration in Hendricks Park. Founded in 2001, we support volunteer programs, educational lectures and tours in the Park, and participate in public/private partnerships with the City of Eugene’s Parks and Open Spaces department. FoHP currently has approximately 300 members who support the Friends and volunteer in the Park. Established the Native Plant Garden. Created the Moon Terrace.

Who are the friends. This is the website of the Friends of Helmshore Textile Museum and you are welcome to look at our pages and see what we are doing. The aim of the Friends is to promote, support, assist and generally further the purpose of the Helmshore Mills Textile Museum by voluntary action and fund raising activities. The Higher Mill is owned by a Trust but operated by Lancashire County Council. Whitaker's Mill is both owned and operated by Lancashire County Council.

Where these channels end, the water enters old streams and they simply can't cope with the increased volumes of water often resulting in large erosion issues.
