Kennel Cough

Kennel cough is an airborne infection, which is often found when large numbers of dogs are kept in close proximity to each other. It is easily compared to a common cold in humans. Most cases of kennel cough resolve spontaneously with no need to treatment. However antibiotics will be required in severe cases, or where there is a risk of infection spreading to other dogs. Please talk to your own vet for future vaccinations against kennel cough. Advice for new dog owners. Settling in new puppies.

Important information about your new pet. It is Society policy to neuter all dogs, cats and rabbits, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Your animal will either be neutered during his or her stay at the centre or if it is a bitch you will be asked to bring her back to Southridge at the correct time in her cycle for neutering her.
