What We’re Doing. What We’re Doing. Began work in Uganda in 2010 with a desire to change the lives of many youth and adolescents who found themselves in one of Uganda’s Remand Homes. From the beginning, we had a desire to direct as much donated funding as possible directly to the work on the ground in Uganda and relied heavily on volunteer and donated labor in the US to run the ministry. Funds to the Ugandan ministry, we formed Friends of Sixty Feet.
