For a trial period the Heritage Centre will open on the second Saturday of each month from 14:00 to 16:00. 14th January; 11th February; 11th March; 8th April. Come at 14:00 or 15:00 for the full guided tour. Normally the Heritage Centre is only available by advance booking or during national or local heritage events. Families or groups are most welcome.

The aim of the Friends is to support the aims of the late owner of the heritage centre, Leslie Robinson, in making the centre accessible to visitors and to assist with the housekeeping of the cottage. Imagine stepping back in time to 1900. The cottage consists of living quarters downstairs and a working hand-loom and exhibits on the upper floor.
