FOSI, as it is familiarly known, was established in 1964 to foster friendship, interest and understanding between New England and Switzerland. Our members include Americans who formerly studied, lived or travelled in Switzerland, Swiss nationals living in the U.S., and people who are simply curious about this unique, multicultural democracy. Friends of Symon is a website designed to allow people to make donations to assist Symon in purchasing a modified motor vehicle to suit his new wheel chair and allow Symon the independence he needs to continue his work and his family’s transport needs. 25 in 25 is a campaign running over 25 days from 15th November to 10th of December where we hope to raise $25,000 to assist Symon in acquiring a modified car.
