Capoeira in the Park. Capoeira is a 400 year old martial art which combines self defence, acrobatics, music and dance. Classess are being held in the park every Monday and Thursday from 7pm. In bad weather, classes will relocate to Thornton Heath Leisure Centre. Why not go along and join in, or just watch!

The newly formed Friends of Thornton Heath Recreation Ground met on the 22nd September at Endeavour Hall, Norbury Crescent. Dozens of people attended the event.
