Fluids Simulation – HLSL Geometry Shader. As an assignment for Graphics Programming class in 2012, I wrote a paper on how metaballs are rendered using a geometry shader. Super Mario World Remake. In my first year of DAE, we had to program a remake of one level from an old arcade game, using the teacher’s 2D game Engine. We didn’t use any external library so all collision detection, physics, gameplay, interaction with enemies and the HUD had to be self programmed. My goal was to recreate an exact copy of the first level of Yoshi’s Island in Super Mario World, but due to a strict time schedule, I had to leave out some elements, such as Yoshi himself.
