Tile prints and tan wedges... | Frills 'n' Spills
http://www.frillsnspills.com/2015/05/tile-prints-and-tan-wedges.html
Sunday, 10 May 2015. Tile prints and tan wedges. Yes, it's another 1970s inspired outfit. I rediscovered this top. When I was having a clear out recently and I have basically ended up recreating the same outfit but with a more summer-y spin. I guess my taste hasn't changed as much as I thought in the past year, despite plenty of new additions (ahem) the vast majority of my wardrobe is pretty constant and I will always. Have room for a cute printed top! Primark via charity shop, camisole:. A better look a...

Tuesday, 10 March 2015. Here I present you with the final outfit post with my old hair! This outfit is usually something that I would wear to work but I was so excited to wear it that I busted it out on the weekend instead. I rarely buy things at full price but when I saw this top in Warehouse. I couldn't resist, I told you that shop was lethal! I really like the length of this top and hides a food baby nicely ;) I'm lucky that I don't have a proper dress code at work. For a smart (and fun! Are still cau...
Seersucker stripes and Liberty print... | Frills 'n' Spills
http://www.frillsnspills.com/2015/07/seersucker-stripes-and-liberty-print.html
Wednesday, 22 July 2015. Seersucker stripes and Liberty print. Long time readers will know just how little I enjoy summer. I am always. Warm and comfort can be hard to find when the temperature keeps rising but this cute seersucker striped dress. Is one of my favourite things to wear in the heat. I would usually wear heels with this but for some reason I woke up wanting to dig out my Keds. I look slightly crumpled here but this outfit put a real spring in my step- and not just because of the bouncy soles!

Tuesday, 11 December 2012. Unfortunately, I think this is destined to be one of those outfits which looks (and feels) great in real life but photographs horribly- ah well, at least I don't mind outtakes. Is becoming quite a regular here on the blog, but when it is so easy to wear, you can understand why, I think this may be the best £1 I ever spent! Although the sky looks very stormy here, Sunday was actually quite warm and one thin layer was enough to keep me cosy. Gift from Peacocks, shoes. PS This pos...

Soup, Glorious Soup | What Emily Did Next
https://whatemilydidnextblog.com/2014/01/15/soup-glorious-soup
What Emily Did Next. Soup, Glorious Soup. It’s that time of year the time when barely anybody consumes solid food. It’s all porridge for breakfast and soup for every other meal of the day. Maybe a stew if you’re really feeling wild. As long as it’s warm and comforting and could adequately be described as a hug in a bowl. (And as long as you can heat it up in the microwave and eat it at your desk.). Red Lentil, Chilli and Chickpea. I’ve seen quite a few other people blog and tweet about making this soup.

Monday, 31 August 2015. My bedroom - Looking for those finishing touches - #TransfAutumn. I know it's still festival season and kids haven't gone back to school yet but Autumn is approaching and the nights are starting to draw in a little earlier. I'll be heading out on my camping trips and days at the seaside less often and spending more time at home over the next few months so I want to get it looking and feeling just right. I've been in the house. George Home Furniture for Asda. Tuesday, 25 August 2015.
Good Things | What Emily Did Next

What Emily Did Next. First things first, to get this one out of the way: I have a. A real one, that involves me getting up on a morning and going into an office and doing things that are somewhat more productive than serving beer and washing pots. So you don’t have to listen to me moaning on about looking for jobs! I have also jumped ship from my parent’s house and have my own. It is a woman’s coat but somehow it fits my broad shoulders perfectly, and is really quite long even though I’m pretty tall, so&...
Lucy in the Clouds: 13x13 Challenge Race 5: Edinburgh Half Marathon

Day Zero Project II. Friday, 24 July 2015. 13x13 Challenge Race 5: Edinburgh Half Marathon. This was to be the third year in a row that I'd run Edinburgh Half, so I felt I knew the course well and knew what to expect. It is also one of my favourite races: the Portobello area you run through is full of gorgeous big houses and one of my favourite things to do while running is Fantasy House Shopping, my favourite running game. On the Saturday we got the bus out to the zoo, mainly to see the pandas (and we w...

Saturday, January 16, 2016. You've been there, right? You're in a store that has Shopkins in stock, but only when you don't want to spend the money. We tried at least a handful of storage options and none of them were perfect. So, enough is enough. Mom's making some herself! Season 4 is out, you know!
