The great thing about this location is you can just hang out on the beach, or the deck(s) here at the house, go shopping at some great local places or take the ferry over to Ocacroke–the beaches are awesome and the town is super fun to explore. Here are some of our favorite places to try:. Great coffee–Dancing Turtle. Breads and pastry (in Frisco)–the Snackery. Fun boutique clothing–Isabelles. Great fresh seafood–Harbor House Seafood.

This piece shows a photo I took of a little starling sitting at our bird feeder (manipulated in photoshop), sitting on the background is a photo I took of a rock surface in Acadia National park, with a dried leaf from my yard.
