Monday, July 26, 2010. We made our 2nd annual road trip out to see my family and had a blast! We were gone for 12 days and the kids did great. Here's how it all went down. Day 1 = Drove to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to spend the night. While we were there we drove through the campus of University of Alabama. Here's a picture of Ashley and me in front of the ZTA house my cousin Lexie will be a sophmore there this fall and gets to live in the house! Days 4-9 = Myrtle Beach, SC at Papa Jack and Kathy's house!

Saturday, December 19, 2009. No, we haven't fallen off the face of the Earth! Here's a bit of what we've been up to. Basketball season is in full swing. The Mustang Misfits (they have earned this name, trust me) are sporting a 10-5 record which includes a tournament championship. Coach Ellis may end up completely bald by the end of this season. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Is it summer yet? Heck, we'd even settle for spring at our house. We are NOT fans of cold, dreary, wet winter weather. The sun has tempted us a few days this week but we are back to gray skies again today. So, what to do on a cloudy, lazy day? Nothing really extroardinary to report, so I'll start with basketball. The Creekview Mustangs are playoff bound again this year! We were the only team to beat them in district play! It just doesn't get much more exciting than this!

Monday, November 2, 2009. Busiest.past.2.months.EVER. Seriously, September and October were jammed packed and flew by. I can't believe it is November Ashley's birthday is later this week and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I'm dizzy just trying to keep up! I won't bore you with all the details of what we've been up to, but I will tell you that we are all fine, healthy (now we are- kids and Jonathan both had the swine flu. Oink, Oink! And ready for the holidays so we can just CHILL OUT!

We've had a super busy week FULL of Christmas activities! Last weekend, we took the kids out to Sarasota Bay for a picnic dinner before watching the lighted boat parade.
