Friday, March 4, 2011. Impromptu Game Review: Desktop Dungeons. The latest game to beat my battery into submission is a game called Desktop Dungeons. It’s a old school top down dungeon crawler. Constantly teasing you to beat the level, and often just getting you close enough to retire or die. Each level is fairly short, but that didn’t stop me from trying again and again. I will beat the gorgon boss, maybe this time before I get battery warnings. I could talk more about it, but you can download it faster.

Sunday, July 25, 2010. Moving, Recycling, etc. I’ve also been recycling old computer cases, or trying to. Most of the plastic is a 6, which no one in this town accepts for recycling. The front of a case comes off quite easily once you don’t care how many pieces it comes off in. Also a good hit with a hammer will permanently keep the side of a case on without screws. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Which is where I arrive at problems. Out of habit, I use a laptop touch pad right handed. So the first pointing device on the laptop is right handed. I usually use the mouse left handed, so the second pointing device is left handed. With me so far? Why not have a switch that changes the hardware setting on the mouse to left handed as opposed to software? I think it would be an improvement. Though, there probably isn't anyone else who has the problem. Earth Mk. II.

Friday, November 20, 2009. I Do Not Like Fruit. Here is your computer back, virus free and running properly again. Thanks, how can I keep this from happening? You should get a Mac. Why because they don't get viruses? No, because I don't know how to fix them. I usually get a weak smile from them at this point. It does lead to one reason why I don't want a Mac though. Not sure what it is then, but I don't think I want one, and no I won't fix it for you. I'm resigned to not knowing how to. Earth Mk. II.

To which he replied with indignant tones, "No, I've only got one sock! I had already mocked his solo sock several times this morning, but it was apparent that I must increase the mocking. One Saturday morning as the family heads to my sons weekly soccer game my son spoke up. 8220;Do you member the one time you had the girl in the car? 8221; He asked. Now for the uninitiated in the language of a J-Rex, member in this case actually means remember, and girl means any female which is probably bi-pedal. My wife asks “What are you talking about? 8220;You know, the one who tells you what to do! 8221; J-Rex then said in his exasperated tone.

Wednesday, August 12, 2009. My Wife Married an Idiot. A slightly less wise man than the first one mentioned would have left it. I'm not even that wise, so I try to reassemble the battery pack and put it back in, which doesn't seem to want to snap back into place as the furry cover is in the way. Did I mentioned that the engineer who designed the Furreal Pony had a sick sense of humor? Well, that person decided the battery pack needed to be placed into the crotch area of the fake horse.
