Montag, 5. Oktober 2015. 2015 - november in the atacama desert - 2015. Rough, but beautiful - and I love it! So, …. I ´ll be back! But this time :. I hope, I can carry enough water with me! Not to end like one of those guys, just above - :-). PS: of course I will have a bed, but just one of that kind, thats fits into my backpack / harness …. My flying gear is packed already, but still two more days are left and as I do not find any motorcycle for rent, I try to find a rental car, which is much easier. I rent one for 24 hours from tonight 7PM until tomorrow 7PM, put my stuff into the car and drive away to Mamiña in the Altiplano to visit once more the healing thermal bathes at this town tomorrow. Sonntag, 21. Februar 2016. 2015 - lightweight gear. There are so many new fabrics out there, that are used in nowadays outdoor clothing, that someone cannot give reliable advice. Just take care, that it protects from sun and heat as well as from the cold ( many do so ), that it is as light as possible. And has the lowest volume as possible. Chose the highest quality, like kevlar, titanium, down 800 a.s.o. involved. These pics are just samples for many tools and gears, that will work.

Daten: S 20´26.499 E 57´21.842 Höhe 327 über NN. Beschaffenheit: enger Wiesengrat, geringe Tiefe, geringe Breite, schwierig zu starten. Erreichbarkeit: zu Fuß über 1.100 m Gehweg mit mäßiger Steigung ab dem Parkplatz der touristischen Sehenswürdigkeit "Coloured Earth" erreichbar, mit 4WD direkt befahrbar. Wie es dazu kam .

Die zum Norden hin vorgelagerte Schulter des Berges von der die GPS-Daten stammen. Der Tamarin Mountain vom Süden aus gesehen ( über die Bucht des Petite Riviere Noire ) von einem Streckenflug entlang der südlichen Westküste aus fotografiert.
