Photos from Here and There. Thursday, October 29, 2009. Rio Grande near Taos, NM. The road from Taos to Sante Fe is very beautiful and in many places you are driving along side the Rio Grande. The Rio Grande begins north of Taos and extends to the Gulf of Mexico. It is the river that separates the United States from Mexico. To me the wildness of it is breathtakingly lovely. Rio Grande looking southward. Rio Grande looking north. Rio Grande Gorge eastern side. Rio Grande Gorge western side.

Poetry, Art, and Commentary by Rick Burnett Baker. Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Comes a day when we all remember moments, events, or people who have passed. This is one of those seasons for me. A decade has nearly passed since one of my dearest friends left only echoes of his laughter and snapshot memories of his face for those who cherished him. I can remember the season. Always summer. May 27, 2009. From dreams of living. In a world where dreams. Offer hope for living. In a world where. Never escaped you -.
