March 11, 2006. This nasty puzzle cache had a FTF prize of a Euro-Geocoin. And some other cool goodies. Once the coordinates are discovered its a simple hike to the cache. OBH has proven quite worthy and supremely intelligent. Congratulations. There are many who seek, but few who see and find. March 8, 2006. If a tree falls in the forest will you know its name? That can help a traveler. Playfair and be nice. Knowing the rules of any game make it more fun. Here are some old rules. Interesting that an Iris...

November 24, 2007. Seven essentials for better photography. These tips are equally important for digital and film photography. You remember film don’t you? 1 Tip one is a combination of Read. First (the owner’s manual) so you won’t have to ask questions later and Know. This does not eliminate or reduce the importance of the photographer. But those who make a living at this know their cameras inside and out. 2 Master the use of the Flash. 4 Avoid the Sun. 5 What you looking at? Seriously, this is importan...

http://frodopuzzles.blogspot.com/2008/10/anybody-out-there.html
October 30, 2008. I have been thinking long and hard about placing the solution to the unsolved puzzles out there and archiving the caches. If there are folks who come by here and have an opinion, share it with the class and you may see some Lat and Long digits here soon. Well - I, for one, would like to see these puzzle caches stay active. There are many people out there who have spent many many sleepless nights working on them, and I think it would be a disservice to jerk the rug so to speak. I have po...

December 21, 2007. Exploding more Medical Myths. Reading in dim light won't damage your eyes, you don't need eight glasses of water a day to stay healthy and shaving your legs won't make the hair grow back faster. Despite frequent mentions in the popular press of the need to drink eight glasses of water, they found no scientific basis for the claim. The complete lack of evidence has been recorded in a study published the American Journal of Psychology, they said. Reading in dim light ruins your eyesight.

http://frodopuzzles.blogspot.com/2007/12/tradition.html
December 10, 2007. It’s kinda cool to have a mixed marriage. No, I am not that cool, my wife is from. Some of the best things are learning about her traditions. In the good old. Our traditions are literally stuffed into us in the form of mass marketing campaigns. I am not on my soapbox against the establishment or even “the man”. I am observing the traditions of Christmas from two perspectives. One of the best, in my opinion, is the setting up and decorating of the Christmas tree. In her family the Chris...
