Killing Time...: Hope, Hype, and the Anti-Bush
http://flipsix3.blogspot.com/2009/02/hope-hype-and-anti-bush.html
Monday, 23 February 2009. Hope, Hype, and the Anti-Bush. So, Barack Obama eh? See, I can be topical - a bit late, but when the subject is as big as this, what's a few weeks. I worry about the bloke. Does anyone else think that he's already been set up to take a momentous fall? I can't imagine that there were too many people who were sorry to see Dubya stepping down. A few comics will probably miss the easy target. Although he obviously doesn't think so. Side note: anyone else notice how, despite confirma...

Killing Time...: November 2008
http://flipsix3.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 18 November 2008. Protecting the Sirius Star. The first major news story my mind really picked up on, since getting back from two weeks on holiday, has been the hijacking of the Sirius Star. It got me thinking though. What can the shipping operators do? Then it hit me, memories on the fear struck into my adolescent heart when doing my paper round - all because of a little perspex sign on the gate. I'm going into business, anyone want to help me with the start-up capital? Links to this post.

So, I'm trying to get back into the habit of updating again, so I think I'll start with some easy stuff. So, lo and behold it took me two seconds to come up with what I think is much funnier:. Labels: Absurdities in Genesis. Thursday, May 6, 2010. Mr Mabus Vs the telemarketers. Random, I know. For context see discussion here. The Death of telemarketers at hand! I am an Atheist wit...

Thoughts on Atheism, Religion, Philosophy, and Counterapologetics. Tuesday, July 14, 2009. More than anything I think I tried to put out too much content too quickly and became a bit obsessive for a while. Hopefully things will start to pick up, but we'll see. I am still planning on doing my reviews, there have just been some life setbacks that have kept me from really getting into a new book. July 14, 2009 at 9:19 AM. July 15, 2009 at 3:52 PM. Hi friend, peace. Your post very interesting. Yeah, I'm Here.

Thoughts on Atheism, Religion, Philosophy, and Counterapologetics. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Holy Crap I've Been Busy. Sorry for the disappearance all, I've been crazy busy at work, I've been planning a wedding (which may get scrapped for purely financial reasons), and most of my internet time has been sucked up into the World of Warcrack. All in all though, things are getting better, and calming down a bit, so I may actually post more often. Shock! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Yeah, I'm Here.

Thoughts on Atheism, Religion, Philosophy, and Counterapologetics. Thursday, September 3, 2009. Once again, I am alive. Because of Real Life(tm) I haven't been able to do much in terms of research for quite some time, and its about time I dusted off my academia. September 3, 2009 at 10:52 AM. Real life; it always seems to get in the way. Good to have you back, EC. October 14, 2009 at 7:59 AM. Ahhhhhhhhh, you just need some Atheist humor for the hollowdays, and here it is. Kyle Mortensen would gladly give his life to protect what he says is the Constitution's very clear stance against birth control. According to Mortensen—an otherwise mild-mannered husband, father, and small-business owner—the most serious threat to his fanciful version of the 222-year-old Constitu...Right the...

Killing Time...: TV, it's not what it used to be!
http://flipsix3.blogspot.com/2009/02/tv-its-not-what-it-used-to-be.html
Monday, 2 February 2009. TV, it's not what it used to be! OK so I'm maybe being a little harsh, given the variety of channels now available I'm not going to be entirely. On target with my "rant" - but then again it's my blog, and that's my prerogative. As Bobby Brown might say. I've just discovered that Life on Earth is 30 years old - has it realy been that long? Anyway, back to the point. I found that out watching the fantastic Attenborough documentary. On Charles Darwin's theories. When I was a kid.

Killing Time...: October 2008
http://flipsix3.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, 26 October 2008. It's not often that I agreed with the Daily Mail (or, in this case, their Sunday publication). However I read this editorial piece today - I really can't add anything to it. Mr Collins has hit the nail on the head. Above all, I remember the defiant intensity of their belief that Hull City. Football Club would one day achieve something wonderful. Which brings us to Phil Gartside. Phil is the chairman of Bolton. A member of the FA board and another of football's dreamers. Phil'...
