It was very sweet so I might try using a little less sugar next time. Water - 1 litre. Caster sugar - 225 g. Finely grated rind of 3 lemons. Lemon juice - 250 ml (use 5 large or 10 small lemons). Blackberries - 300 g. 2) Combine the blackberries with 250 ml of the lemon mixture in a blender. Blend and then strain through a sieve to remove the seeds. The 7 Colours of Health.

Tuesday, 19 November 2013. Potatoes baked in olive oil (0 colours). Baking potatoes - 2 large or 3 medium sized. Olive oil for brushing. 1) Heat the oven to 200 °C. Scrub each potato and then slice lengthways into 3 or 4 pieces. Brush a large baking tray with olive oil and then line with the potato slices. I think you all know that my Grandad went into hospital just before my birthday, I've been in Cumbria (without a web connection) making daily hospital visits for the past week. On Saturday they moved him to Preston, where my brother Gary lives, so I've now returned home briefly before scooting off to Cambridge to teach workshops all next week. I went to Archery practice as part of my 'birthday week'!

A Blog every Sunday. Sunday, 4 March 2012. Yesterday I opened our front door to be confronted with a scene that very much resembled this. Misty had brought in a live mouse to play with, and as I opened the door it was heading straight for me with the tabby in hot pursuit. It then shot off under the bureau in the hall and after several minutes of persuasion, Helen and I managed to contain it in a small bin for relocation to the garden. Misty spent the next 24 hours making regular checks under the bureau.
