Sunday, January 29, 2012. Then after the boys were nestled all snug in their beds, the stockings were hung by the window with care. Everyone enjoyed opening their new toys Christmas morning, and the boys had fun piecing together this puzzle that santa left them each pieces to, that led them to their new basketball hoop out front. Later that morning we went to church and enjoyed a lovely Sacrament meeting (I probably considered it extra lovely as I was sitting up on the stand with the choir!

Sunday, July 26, 2015. Taking a few minutes tonight outside . . . a few quiet minutes before the work begins. Trying to find some peace in the chaos that has been life this summer. Between the children, the job, and the husbands travel schedule, I haven't spent a lot of time out here. And tonight is perfect. The perfect temperature. The perfect sunset. The perfect bird sounds. It was during one of our usual adda hang out evenings that the talk of we "boys" undertaking the final frontier was discussed! It was decided, with great earnest, that we would visit Ladakh during the summer of 2010 - once the highways connecting it to the rest of the country opened - generally after May. And the usual suspects - Santa, Ghana, Lalli and me - agreed that this has to be the time. All in my dreams!
