For the annual design festival OFFF Barcelona, w e created a short film as opening titles for the festival. We'll have a peek into Mr. Emilton's cabinet of curiosities. Reasons to be Creative. For the design event Reasons to be Creative 2014, we built this title installation that features all the names of the speakers. Inspired by the fairground that took place at the Brighton Pier back in the days, we built and designed our own funfair cabinet for this annual design event in Brighton. This 17 meter table top shot tells Coffeecompany's story from bean to cup. This film leads us through Coffeecompany’s process of coffee. From how their berries are farmed to the how they serve their coffees in store. To tell their story, we took their long distinctive table as a basis. 17 meters long to be exact. We moulded the graphics into the table tops, assembled scale models of their roasteries,. Programmed ticking clocks and hand sculpted tiny coffee berries. Concept, production and direction.

Saturday, 6 September 2014. Dan vs Reasons To Be Creative 2014. Earlier this week I spent a few days in sunny Brighton, attending and speaking (rapidly) at Reasons To Be Creative 2014. It's been some years since I was last in Brighton for Flash On The Beach, so I jumped at the chance to go and check out what it morphed into.
