In our house, we use a small, magnetic chalk board to keep track of grocery lists, phone numbers, and items that can be easily forgotten (thank-you notes, usually). So here we wanted the same. Unfortunately, it turns out that magnetic paint doesn't really work. I mean.it works ok. You can get the magnet to stick to it. But if you wanted to stick something to the door using the magnet? Sunday, November 30, 2014. Iain Builds a Time Machine. Last week, Iain and I saw Big Hero 6. It's fantastic. While we watched I thought, "This is as good as Wall-E," and, "Wow.". If you've seen the movie, you know that it revolves in part around an invention that allows you to transport materials through a portal. Iain apparently found that part interesting. Sunday, January 04, 2015. At last. Not that it's the last thing. Not by far. But it was satisfying to identify a nice coffee table. Later that day I set my tea down on a surface other than the floor. Very pleasing. The table rests on a triangular base made of lucite panels and aluminum supports. The top is glass. I'd never have seen it, buried as it was under a pile of CareBears and other 80s ephemera. But Charles spotted it right away. It even fit in the trunk! Very stylish. Me likey.

캄파 크랭크의 새로운 보급형 방식인 파워토크. 실상은 시마노 등 타 회사의 방식과 다를 바 없지만 조립 할 때에도 생전 써본 적 없는 14mm 렌치를 사게 하였는데 분해 시에는 아예 전용 공구를 사용하여야 한다. 그것도 매우 비싸고 샵에서도 그다지 사용할 일 없는 베어링 공구와 파워토크 전용공구 두 가지 모두 말이다. 다음은 전용 공구를 사기엔 너무 아깝고 샵으로 가져가기엔 귀찮아 머리를 굴린 끝에 터득한 분해 방법이다. 이 방법은 매우 간단하고 비싼 공구를 필요치 않지만 크랭크에 상처를 입힐 가능성이 있다. 따라 하다 문제 생겨도 나는 모른다. 필요한 공구는 두 가지. 조립시에 사용했던 14mm 육각 렌치와 BB컵 조립툴이다. 아이스툴등 옆에서 들어가는 제품은 안되고 얇은 스페너 모양의 공구가 필요하다. 시마노 제품이 싸고 좋다. 1 육각렌치를 사용 나사를 분리. 2 BB툴을 크랭크암과 BB컵 사이에 잘 끼워 넣는다. 사진에서는 1번 나사 분해 전 이지만, 신경쓰지 말자- ).
