Friday, February 28, 2014. Pork Shoulder w/Veg and Rice. I believe the package said "shoulder" and "butt" both, which confuses me as those two body parts are no where near each other. Pork shoulder butt roast, something like that. Maybe the "butt" wasn't meant as a location. Yesterday I had this chunk of meat sitting in my fridge, and I wanted to mix things up a bit. Change the pace. Not do the norm. Google to the rescue! Pork Shoulder w/Veg and Rice. 4 to 5 lb pork shoulder, bone-in. 1 TBSP brown sugar.

Friday, May 22, 2015. I used this recipe from Flour Arrangements. Love the play on words with the blog name and logo! The only two things I changed were that I left out the pecans, and when I made the filling, I put in the rest of the filling ingredients for the last few minutes of cooking time before shutting off the heat. Monday, February 16, 2015. We've got a lot of ground beef in our deep freeze, and I've been trying to think up new things to try with it. Made this recipe for Italian Herb Baked Meatballs. Last week, and Jeremy and I liked them! Kids weren't that impressed, but they ate them. I doubled the recipe for 29 total. (Used a #24 scoop.). Didn't have any marinara on hand, so I used worcestershire sauce, but not an equivalent measure. For the doubled recipe I used 2 TBSP. Not sure that the parchment was necessary!
