From kazan with love. Russian language, traveling abroad, and of course me. August 2, 2012. And halfway done. Unfortunately. After being here for a total of 13 days things are starting to become routine. I no longer struggle to figure out how to pay for a bus ride or how to open the door to our apartment. Instead there are new things that I wonder about- why does the bus no longer go to our bus stop and instead drops us off somewhere else entirely? Why does the internet randomly stop working in our house?

It’s already Wednesday morning… how did that happen? Our host mothers took off and we were left at the mall to hang around and find our way back home. Which was pretty easy. Our host mom gave me keys so that ‘s how I’ve been getting into the apartment at night. The rest of the night we spent sleeping. Renovations of a building. Buildings along the canal.
