Friday, October 8, 2010. Ruby is 29 months old. Or I could say she is 2 and 5/12. No matter how I say it, it sounds silly. At what point do parents drop the month naming? It has a lot to do with co-dependency issues - not the kids but the parents. Saying Ruby is 2 and a half means my little girl is growing up and that I have no business in Babies r' Us unless I need to buy a gift for one of my knocked up friends.
