Juggling daily life, chocolate and cyberspace. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Loving our new hobby! August 27, 2014. I’ve recently rediscovered Geocaching, which I spent, ooh, a couple of months failing at back in 2011. This time I’ve persevered and got the family involved too. Wider family has also been introduced to the game, successfully so far (ie they don’t all think it’s daft ;-) . You can find out what I’m rambling on about by going here:. Http:/ www.geocaching.com. Cambridge Ecothrifter: Credit crunch crafting: raid your cupboards to make a wallhanging
http://cambridgecheapskate.blogspot.com/2009/10/credit-crunch-crafting-raid-your.html
Credit crunch crafting: raid your cupboards to make a wallhanging. This lovely hanging cost me nothing. This swatch book is precious to me as it reproduces William Morris' designs. I used to live opposite the William Morris Gallery. In London, I bought that house because it was across the road from this wonderful, free museum not many people know of. The archive of Morris's designs belongs to Sanderson. Which sells reproductions for soft furnishings and of course wallpaper. Posted by Simone Castello.

Life hacks - don't you love them? In the past month, I have been tweeting useful articles on how to re-use and/or repair items and they have proved very popular. for instance, did you know that the pumice stone you use on the hard skin of your feet can clean the water sediment in a toilet? I know, it's not a Xmas tip, per se but if you have guests and need to clean a scaley toilet, then it's handy. I use a broken pumice stone for cleaning, I am not suggesting you use it again on your feet. gross! We have...
