From the Bedroom Window

From the Bedroom Window. Sunday, October 10, 2010. Things are up and running at school. Life is in a fast mode with work, graduate school, and family events. I am grateful for the strength God is giving me. I need it! Sometimes there are moments of just gasping for breath and others where things work like clockwork and I can check things off my list. God gives gifts for a season and may work through our lives and hearts to do other things in order to grow and be challenged to conform to his son, Jesus.

From the Bedroom Window: May 2008

http://fromthebedroomwindow.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

From the Bedroom Window. Monday, May 26, 2008. In looking for some scriptures that tell of God’s power, (I’m song seeding again) I came across this word in Job. These are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power? I thought that that was a great idea to develop into a song! How faint the whisper we hear of him! So keep sharing how he’s working. We need to be encouraged! Habakkuk reminds us that when we are challenged by pain,...

From the Bedroom Window. Sunday, February 24, 2008. More on Filming My Music Video. I woke up around 2:30am and couldn't get back to sleep until about 4:30.too much swirling in the mind. I awoke around 6:30 and started getting ready. My hairdresser (and friend) came to help me get "the look" around 8:00am. As soon as Roy, my producer came, the four of us (including my husband) headed for Portland. Then we headed back into the vehicle and headed for Massachusetts. We were very cold, but God was good. ...

From the Bedroom Window. Friday, November 17, 2006. A season of Thanks! I am very grateful for all the friends and family who have been supportive of my music ministry over the years! God Bless you. You not only ask about the music, but also about the family. That has been so encouraging! This is the week when we are reminded of what we have, if we choose to see the glass half full as opposed to half empty, friends, family, etc. Bless them with your joy and thanksgiving and watch them smile.

From the Bedroom Window: Today's Prayer

http://fromthebedroomwindow.blogspot.com/2010/06/todays-prayer.html

From the Bedroom Window. Friday, June 11, 2010. You alone are the strength and wisdom we need when we are challenged. You alone. Know the future events and are in charge of all that is and was and will be. You stir. Men’s hearts to worship you and demonstrate your love in their lives. You set the sea in. Its boundaries and the mountains stand where you wish them to be. Your son provided the only way, through the cross, that we have access to your grace and. Thank you. In Jesus Name.

From the Bedroom Window: December 2006

From the Bedroom Window. Sunday, December 17, 2006. Inspired by my pastor (Mark Gedicks) and Madeleine L'Engle (from her book: 'Bright Evening Star'. Imagine being given a new suit to wear in the new place you were visiting. It's not a suit to protect you from the elements. It's a suit or uniform that you would wear in order to appear as those natives who live in that area. It's not a wish. It's not a fairy tale. There were witnesses who tell this story in God's word. Witnesses today still ha...I can't i...

From The Beatles to The Blues, Chapter 6: Dayton Sound Jr. (1971). 6 Dayton Sound Jr. (1971). I lasted, however, only one quarter at Ohio Northern. I had no academic problems, but I didn’t like living the dormitory life or being away from Bonnie, so I came back home at Christmas and transferred to. After I returned to. From the Bedside | Personal stories about patient care at St. Louis Children's Hospital

Sign up for our newsletter. Setting an undistracted example. As members of the trauma team at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, MaryAlice McCubbins, PNP, and Bobbi Williams, MSW, LCSW, have treated children and worked with many families after severe injuries suffered from everything from falls to gunfire. A teenager who spent several weeks in their care as the result of a car accident, though, is inspiring them to spread a message they hope her peers and theirs will hear. We call them accidents for a reason...

From the Bedside | The life of a wife, nurse, and mom (to a dog and two cats)

I found this lately on a day when I really needed to laugh. Just thought I would share. Maggie does run and bark in her sleep, but nothing like that! I wonder what he was chasing! March 7, 2009 at 8:47 am. We’ve had two seperate ultrasounds where the tech has been pretty sure it’s a girl. The tech still hasn’t been able to get a view that told her 100% it’s a girl. She will just not open her legs! We also got video of the entire ultrasound, which I’m sure I will watch over and over. Now, heaven forbid I ...

Sunday, May 10, 2015. Mother's Day - primary version. Today in Primary Bailey, Logan and I got to be one of the teams in a Mother's Day version of the Newlywed game (we were actually not originally picked - but one family didn't show up - and there happened to be 3 of us already in the room, so we got picked last minute. Quite serendipitous I think). My kids answers were so funny . definitely post worthy. Here they are:. Question: What's your mom's favorite color? 5 points for that awesome answer. Me (wh...

A stitch in time. Every pocket tells a story. A stitch in time. Every pocket tells a story. April 30, 2016. You would be mistaken for thinking that the bits and pieces I find daily in Zoë’s pockets are worthless tat. I do however draw the line at… Continue reading Every pocket tells a story. The space in between. The space in between. We all kno...
