Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Can't believe a year has gone by, and I can still recall everything that happened in 2009 Easter! I got to see Lila in action during the Easter egg hunt, and it was HILARIOUS! She would pick up an egg, shake it, and depending on if she liked the sound (I'm guessing here), she would either drop it back down or put it in her bag. No rhyme or reason why she chose certain eggs to make the cut. Shake, shake, shake". She hit the jackpot! Yay for Spring Break! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, April 15, 2011. We had to visit the Easter bunny this year! Contemplated on whether or not Tabi needed an Easter bunny pic, and I had to do it since Lila got one when she was her age at 4 months. My how things have changed in the last two months. Lila's relationship with her sis has grown leaps and bounds! Loves to pose like this with tabs. Seriously.she's such a sweet natured baby. It's so fun to see her laugh now, esp when her cousins make her laugh. They love her so much already!

I decided to get back into blogging again. life has been crazy here. lilsprinkles has consumed my days and nights. if you're reading this, and you have nothing to do the weekend of july 16th, come to the renegade fair. I feel like Cara always has to share the spotlight with her sister, so this post is going to just be about her. One day, I hope she reads this. You seriously melt my heart. Monday, August 8, 2011. She doesn't really understand the concept of "student/teacher" and will do almost anything for a sticker. She may not have been the star student in the class, but I was so proud of her. From the Kiln is a new popup shop in Maidenhead, you can find us in the Nicholson's Centre opposite the Starbucks. We will be exhibiting and selling ceramics made by ten local potters. We are pleased to announce that the shop will be open from Wednesday 4 June 2014 until Sunday 27 July 2014. Studio in a shop'. Some of our potters will be working in a designating studio area at the back of the shop, come and see how the pots start out on their life as clay and watch them develop into beautiful objects.

A journey into clay. This year at SOCA we have had the great fortune of working with Neville French,. Who invited us to find local clays to include in our work. I put the word out to a group of artists I have been working with in the Kinglake area on a project “INTO THE LIGHT”. A bush fire recovery project post 2009 fires. I love the resonance my community work has with my personal work, the connections and threads entwine. It is an honour to include clay from Lees property into this new clay journey.
