Thursday, 4. March 2004. Drippy phone calls and not-so-old souls. LOL I gotta love that. What a good reality check.and it gave me and my sister a belly laugh when I called her to say Id talked to Dad and he mustve been tired, because hed told everyone else he was okay, but he started getting philosophical with me, saying no one knows what the future holds, and that he loves me and would do anything for me. まず初めに理解して頂きたいのが、ドライバーなどウッドはボールを遠くまで運ぶクラブ、アイアンは距離を刻むクラブという基本的なことです。ティアップして真横からインパクトすると、つまりはアイアンと同じ位置でヒットした場合になるのですが、ゴルフスイングの方向は水平でロフトはそのまま活かせますボールの側から考えると、ロフトの分だけクラブフェースに平行な力が加わり、バックスピンがかかって高く上がるため飛距離は伸びなくなります。ドライバーが振り上がるときにインパクトする、いわゆるアッパースイングではスイングが上向きになっている関係上、ロフトの影響をほとんど受けません。さらにロフトが大きくなるだけクラブフェースに加わる平行なパワーが大きくなります結果的に、ボールにバックスピンが強くかかり上方向にあがって飛距離は出なくなるのです。つまり番手が大きなアイアンほどロフトが大きくなりシャフトが短くなるので飛距離が出なくなるようにデザインされているのです。
