Sunstar Gazette: Discoveries in the woods

http://sunstargazette.blogspot.com/2015/08/discoveries-in-woods.html

A View Into My World. Sunday, August 02, 2015. Discoveries in the woods. Terry standing by the stone. Another adventure took us back into the woods by Eagle Lake. There once was a private water company, the Bar Harbor Water Company, that took water from Eagle Lake to Bar Harbor. On the map they called this a filter. In reality it is a big, granite tower. This is what we found. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Big hike, beautiful day. Another good bottle of wine. Discoveries in the woods.

A View Into My World. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Sunday, July 19, 2015. Monday, July 13, 2015. Giant Slide to Northeast Harbor. So, last Wednesday(July 8th), I went out in the morning to hike a trail I have been wanting to do for a while. There was a lot of rock scrambling - over, under and around - and I was very glad that things had dried out a little bit. I cannot imagine doing this trail when it is wet! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A great day in the Gulf and more. It took us 12.5 hours to do the trip, but it was worth it! Heading out at Venice Inlet. Some shade along the path at Cayo Costa. Sun and bright blue sky. The beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Tuesday, April 07, 2015. Having fun in Gulfport, FL. A very cool glass and metal sculpture. One of our favo...

Sunstar Gazette: Another good bottle of wine

http://sunstargazette.blogspot.com/2015/08/another-good-bottle-of-wine.html

A View Into My World. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Another good bottle of wine. Yesterday was Terry's birthday and he was given a gift certificate for Gayln's, so we went there for lunch after we spent the morning at the Northeast Harbor Library. It was a very nice meal, but what made it was the wine, another Gertwismer. It was sweet and smooth. Afterwards we wandered through town a bit and enjoyed some of the fog. A View Into My World. Sunday, September 28, 2014. Terry and I could not help but chuckle when we looked out the shop door and saw these two guys on their smart phones. Such and strange/interesting sight to see. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Fun in the park with my sista! My sister is visiting for a few days and we went to Acadia National Park to do some hiking and take in the awesome ocean. The trees are changing and the ocean was roaring. We had a really great time. Sisters on the trail.

http://sunstargazette.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

A View Into My World. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. End of the year. Another year has come and gone. We had a busy one with travel, replacing the roof on our house in North Carolina, working in Maine and working in Kentucky. We finished up in Kentucky with Amazon on December 22nd. I managed to log about 919,700 steps, which works out to about 470 miles. I lost ten pounds and Terry lost eight pounds. It was a lot of hard work! My Elf and a Christmas Tree farm. My family - Mom, Dad, Kim, Terry and Gracie.

A View Into My World. Saturday, January 24, 2015. My hair started to drive me nuts, so I needed to do something. I did not want drastic, like shaving it off, but I did want shorter. It took two days, but I finally got it right. My hair before I had it cut. The first cut, in my face too much and Terry really did not like it. The finished product, I love it (so does Terry)! Friday, January 16, 2015. Thursday, January 08, 2015. Tea and a tangle. Thursday, January 01, 2015. This afternoon my sister, Gracie a...

from the library floor

From the library floor. Until one day, the Falafel stand of Memory is gone and then comes the godawful mind numbing sadness. The place was destroyed. Where we danced and drank, discussed love and stupidity while falling against the sticky fur lined walls, against the out of place pinball machine into the streets craving the sweet breeze while watching Table mountain lit by twin suns, just stand there. Daring us to do something. Then we stopped accepting the dare. Was there a Falafel for me?

A view from the top. A view from the top of Auckland. Looking out over Auckland New Zealand you can see what a massive ans sprawling city Auckland actually is. Although the bulk of the high rises are in the central city are, there’s still of lot of business happening outside of that area. Put customer centric thinking at the heart of your business model. March 27, 2018. One of the great entrepreneurs of the C20th, Ingvar Kamprad, the founder of IKEA, died last month. He created a business, founded when he was just seventeen, that today has commercial reach and a cultural impact that very few consumer products could hope to attain. Nevertheless, everyone got a cup of coffee and a bun. The idea of opening a fast food restaurant in each store was born. Kamprad focus was customer centric, but...
