Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Once we got to Waco Travis' parents came and picked up the kids for. Beach Camp" at Mimi and Poppy's for the week while Trav and I taught. Swim lessons. They had such a blast. Mimi and Poppy's handiwork! They totally transformed their backyard into a beach. Complete with sand and water! They also took a trip to Rockport one day to see and play at the "real" beach! So I don't think they missed us too much.no time! To be at Mimi and Poppy's! Little ones around now to play together!

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Shortly after school was out and all our activities were over it was. About time to head to Texas for swimming.no rest for the weary in May. My mom flew in and she and I and the kids drove together. We tried to break it up some, stopping in Amarillo for about a day. Where we got to spend some time at their lake house. Always so fun and relaxing- especially in the middle of a long road trip! And the kids of course are always ecstatic to see their cousins! Fun times but too short!

Monday, December 31, 2012. Christmas in Edna: Time at Mimi and Poppy's. I realized I didn't do a great job of taking pics while we were in Texas,. But I have a few! It's always a fun, relaxing, creative time at Mimi and Poppy's. The girls made their annual gingerbread cookies with Mimi! It was actually cold while we were there. This is a hot chocolate/cookie break after playing outside! A fun ride in the wagon. And a very short, very careful ride on the motorcycle with Poppy! Great time with family!
