On Friday morning’s school announcement, I told my students about something I heard recently, on my drive to school. The NPR Morning Edition story. On Friday, at the end of the day, an ENL (English as a New Language) teacher sent me an email about the reflections of a young student from Iraq. Sharing a snippet from one news story told me how much of an influence we can have, when we least expect it.
