Sunday, July 29, 2012. Summer Days and Good Reads. We're getting over the latest sickness craze in our home. My sweet boy just had his 7th ear infection. Yes, he's only 9 months old and has had 7 ear infections! You know he's really sick when he's almost too weary to smile. Forhead hot, bright pink cheeks, eyes too heavy to play. I said "almost" because no matter how sick he is, he still manages to light up the room with a smile. Sipping a Chai Tea Latte and re-reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

Saturday, March 30, 2013. God has me on a journey. When I look back over the past 16 1/2 months I can see His hand at work in my life. When my son was 8 weeks old I returned to work. For one month I worked the mornings and spent the afternoons with my boy. God gave me immense joy. I knew I was where I belonged.
