French for 'from the woods.'. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. So JT and I are packing up house soon and moving into my family home while the rest of my family except dad move out. We'll be living basically upstairs and dad downstairs since his accident. It'll be good for him and us when we invest in the rest of the house. We'll rent out of small 2 bedroom "cottage" to JT's sis. So i'll be keeping track of our journey of renovation and life via this blog. Visiting Grandma in rehab. Harry: warming the bonnet.

Tied into the injuries we had family dramas with dad’s sister, his (now ex)girlfriend, my mother and her new dubious partner, financial turmoil and the decision to move dad into the family home and JT and myself to take on part of the LARGE mortgage and live with my dad once he gets out of hospital. We now have a new flat bottomed wok. Although the round based woks are Jarrah's favorite, they are only really effective on gas stove tops. So with us having an electric stove, flat bottom was our only option. Below is the recipe taken from Jarrah's mum Narelle and our cooking process. We also had some mini spring rolls as an entre.

Filled with ambitious plans, I lay harbored by the constant jetlag that is the breakfast shift. I found it was 3pm before I knew it and I hadn't exercised, I was so tired! All of our produce is sourced from sustainably-managed woodlands in Sussex and we take great pride in celebrating regeneration, biodiversity, sustainability and rural employment.
