The trees had succumbed to the Emerald Ash Bore before we moved in and one of them was in between the power and telephone line. Not a DIY project for us. We used a fantastic idea from our Sister-in-law, Susan, and built our kids a giant sensory pit filled with beans for Christmas. PVC pipe, a queen sized sheet, beans, and trucks. Christmas morning was spent in the pit with a new garbage truck to play with. Clara is all set for motherhood and wearing her babies. She had triplets in there. Slow down girl!
