The Austins in Nigeria. Saturday, 24 September 2011. I'm going to put up some random pictures I've taken, but mostly I'm using it as an excuse to post something about which I have been feeling especially grateful. Kelli and Emma are amazing! This move to Nigeria is probably as foreign and unique an experience as we've ever had, and yet both of them have been true "examples of the believers" and behaved with grace and courage at every turn. The Austins in Nigeria. Wednesday, 21 December 2011. More visitors, a Christmas party and henna. We recently had a visit from Yuramma (another guard) and his family. This is him:. And his beautiful wife. And his oldest daughter. . . Belief. Her hair is wrapped in tiny black wire and then twisted on her head. Her mother did all three girls hairdos. Then Benevolence. I asked Yuramma how long it took his wife to braid her hair and he said it was easy, it only took about 5 hours. She did a beautiful job!

Tonight, Davis wanted the last gulp of our celebratory mini martinelli's the hospital gave us and he kept rooting towards it as I drank. I just put in Edie's binkie in his mouth and he did her signature head wiggle back and forth to get that binkie goodness in her mouth.
