Monday, October 19, 2009. Another traveling wedding cake! First I wanna give props to my husband, he is rarely my 'assistant' but this time he was. He helped me hand place every single rhinestone. If it wasn't for him, I never would've gotten this cake done on time! There were lots of hiccups getting this cake together, but the bride loved it and that's all that mattered! I was nervous about that many rhinestones, but the whole 'theme' of the wedding was bling! So it worked perfect!

Tuesday, October 13, 2009. The Young Womens President asked me to make a wedding cake for a mock reception that they are having. She gave me no guidelines, so I decided to keep it simple! This is the cake I made for my sister's wedding. I'm mostly happy with how it turned out, but the top layer design should have been a bit darker of a color to make the graduated color effect much clearer. Ah well! Thursday, March 31, 2011. This is beyond excusable! December of '09, really? Well, I vow to be better at updating (not even sure if anyone is even reading.)! I have done a handful of cakes since then, and I will be adding new photos to the Galleries. In the meantime, I really want to change my name. I like Frosted, but I'm kinda over it! Friday, December 4, 2009. I saw a picture of this cake and have been aching to try it. Harmony didn't tell me what she wanted so I thought this was perfect! It was so fun to make! My 4 year old was really bothered by the fact that this 'baby' didn't have a head! I also tried a new recipe with this, cream cheese pound cake with a killer filling! Thursday, March 31, 2011. Lately I've become OBSESSED with Cupcakes! Here in Sacramento there is a place called Icing on the Cupcake. It is UH MAY ZINGGGG! I'm not gonna compare myself to them in the slightest, but because of them I decided to try my hand at cupcakes. Here are a few (gratuitous) shots of some cupcakes I've done. :). My baby's 1st Birthday. A good friend's birthday! A church function, the heart cupcakes are mine. Basically with the cupcakes I'm trying hard to nail the taste!
