Living in a construction zone can be rather unpleasant at times. When I came home from Montana in early October, the demolition of the exterior wall was complete. Frost Family Kitchen addition/renovation. Sunday, August 17, 2008. I don't know how he did it, but David and the guys managed to get our kitchen "dried in" in spite of the rain! It is so much more like an actual room now. Jack and I spent most of Saturday selecting and purchasing appliances. Today, Jack started working on the wiring, and I was back to packing! Gil and I decided to take a quick weekend trip to DC because I've never been before.And because I won't be able to travel for too much longer, especially long distances. I have always wanted to see all of the monuments and beautiful buildings in DC. We basically did every "touristy" thing you could do.and I loved it! An awkward picture of us in the National Mall. The front of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. That dino bone is as tall as me.

Tuesday, April 21, 2009. About a month after our wedding, Gil and I flew to Guanacaste, Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We stayed in a gorgeous condo on Flamingo Beach, which is on Costa Rica's Pacific side. It was so perfect and so relaxing. More vacation time please!
