I am really really dreading tomorrow. especially after a week of relaxation (well, more like 3 days) and the thought of the noise and hustle and bustle tomorrow. I feel drained already. I don't want to go to work tomorrow! Monday, April 26, 2010. After almost a year. Goodness gracious, it's been nearly a year since I last posted. I will try to be more active. I promise! Let's just hope that this new resolution actually lasts longer than 3 hours.

Monday, March 23, 2009. It's been ages since I last posted, I don't really know why. but yeah. Hmm. Anyways, it's been one year since I last recorded not knowing what Mandu looks like. He's almost a year old now, active, cheruby, vibrant and just so. him. The precious him. We all love him to bits (and he knows that! And somehow I kinda understand. When you have had a terrible day and feel like killing the whole world, you take one look at him and you smile. He does make you happy. But he's still precious.

Thursday, October 16, 2008. Ahh, life today. It sounds poetic, my title, but really it's anything but. I feel lethargic, don't want to do anything at all. I think I'm ill. Being constantly lethargic has got to be a medical condition. Mandu's grown really big now. So different from when I first saw him, that day in March. Really active too, and can sometimes be too much for me to handle. But all kids are like that right? That's what I say all the time. S'what I say. Save us from eternal boredom!

大头虾 big head prawn. Tuesday, March 11, 2008. It's nice that Jo and I are taking turns cooking, sometimes it's nice to come home at the end of a work day and think 'oh, it's my day off'. But truly, most of the time I really enjoy cooking. Since Jo has been cooking so much Chinese food lately, I decided to go western when it was my turn to cook today. I'm sure I will be able to convert her into a coriander lover soon. We're eating so much chicken that we're going to turn into chickens pretty soon.

I wasn't expecting any parcels/cards from the family this year since I'd already received the nicest birthday gifts (I especially love Andy's 'meaningful' gift*hiak hiak*) earlier in the year so I was pleasantly surprised and very happy. Jan and Andy flew in late 21st, just in time to wish her happy birthday at the stroke of midnigh. On the day itself I had to work so I couldn't join them on their visit to the Perth zoo.
