Caregiver of DOOM!!!: Do You Realize?
http://michaeldthomas.blogspot.com/2008/01/do-you-realize.html
Tuesday, January 22, 2008. I’m fairly exhausted today. Yesterday was supposed to be a relaxing day off with the family. No dice. Here is a quick list of things that sucked yesterday:. 1- My daughter spent Sunday night vomiting. The details are over in Lynne’s blog. Luckily, Caitlin was well for the rest of the day. This morning she was a bit out of it, but otherwise fine. 2- I went to the dentist, got my teeth cleaned, and they found two small cavities. Not a big deal in the grand scheme. George R.R&...

Caregiver of DOOM!!!: November 2007
http://michaeldthomas.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 30, 2007. Today, Outpost Gallifrey (http:/ www.gallifreyone.com/) effectively ended. The home of Doctor Who Fandom for the last decade has become merely a portal to a diminished news page, links, the Forum, an archive, and the Gallifrey One Convention. It’s a bittersweet thing. Posted by Michael Damian Thomas. Look, I understood why WoC made the move to 4th Edition. They were running out of interesting book ideas for third edition, and I’m sure that it was reflected in their sa...Overall...

Caregiver of DOOM!!!: Bummer in the Barb City
http://michaeldthomas.blogspot.com/2008/01/bummer-in-barb-city.html
Friday, January 18, 2008. Bummer in the Barb City. And so ends another winter week in the Barb City (they invented barbwire in DeKalb dontcha know). This is a bad thing. It seems that one of the commission’s biggest allies might be part of the forced retirements. This person was instrumental in us getting anything done for people with disabilities. These financial problems also make the future existence of our commission a bit cloudy. I am not happy about this. Posted by Michael Damian Thomas.

Caregiver of DOOM!!!: New Year's Resolutions
http://michaeldthomas.blogspot.com/2008/01/new-years-resolutions.html
Tuesday, January 1, 2008. New Year’s resolution time! 1- I will continue to be the best husband, father, and person that I can be. 2- I will finish the rough draft of my 2/3 complete novel. I will polish it, send it to readers, and workshop part of it at WisCon. 3- I will help plan and run the best possible Aicardi Syndrome Family Conference. 4- I will continue to work with my co-authors to make Fluid Links into an amazing guidebook that should be published this year. 10- I will read at least 45 books.

Caregiver of DOOM!!!: July 2007
http://michaeldthomas.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2007. Then I burned out. It’s not that I stopped reading, but I moved on to different things. I read more of the literary “canon.” I read more mysteries, and I read a whole bunch of Doctor Who novels. I also read an awful lot of comics. After Odyssey Con last April, I made a decision to rectify this. I have started a quest to read as many SF books as possible while focusing both on the classics and on the books by all of these wonderful authors that we were meeting. 10- Gateway- Fred Pohl.

Friday, August 31, 2007. Professionally, I really feel like I turned a corner. I only have a few more hours of clean-up work left for the MNP project. It has taken hundreds of hours over 10 months, but it is ready. I am very pleased. Posted by Michael Damian Thomas. Here’s something for the kids. Posted by Michael Damian Thomas. Caregiver of DOOM!!!: Tropical Heat Wave
http://michaeldthomas.blogspot.com/2008/01/tropical-heat-wave.html
Sunday, January 20, 2008. A snowman just ran into our house to warm up. Apparently, it’s cold enough to freeze your Winnebago off (a no-prize to anybody who got that reference). We haven’t left the house in a bit. The DVD collection is paying off. We spent yesterday watching a ton of Fraggle Rock and then GoldenEye as part of our never-ending Bond film festival. Not a shabby way to spend a Saturday. Fah, to the cold, I say. Fah! Posted by Michael Damian Thomas. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Caregiver of DOOM!!!: September 2007
http://michaeldthomas.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 30, 2007. The RAMP Wheel-A-Thon went well. Caitlin was very pleased to be the center of attention. They even gave her an official “Grand Marshall” t-shirt. Unfortunately, it said “Catlin” on the back. Nobody noticed, of course, with her in her wheelchair. Here is the local newspaper article:.
