Bloggity Blog Blog Blog…. July 31, 2016. 8212; thirdxlucky @ 2:06 am. I have written more than 50,000 words this month — that’s a word count equivalent to a short novel or, at least, to the NaNoWriMo win condition — and I feel like I’ve accomplished. Every time I write something, I want to give up. I don’t feel this way about writing when I’m. Familiar with the parts that are hard and make me want to give up, teach all the strings of cells that hold my body, brain, and heart together that this is. Turn t...

Bloggity Blog Blog Blog…. August 18, 2014. Back at the Bottom of the Well. 8212; thirdxlucky @ 7:24 am. I wake in the middle of the night from some kind of strange nightmare. It has an epic, sweeping,. Scope and is mostly focused on how totally and completely dead I’ll be when, eventually, even the mere fact of my existence will have been obliterated from history millennia ago and there will be nothing left of me in human memory “besides interesting amounts of hair and spit.”. 1 Comment ». A lot of people are talking about the new RPG by Luke Crane and David Peterson,. Mouse Guard, based on the graphic novels of the same name. Some of those people are probably pondering getting in on the pre-order at IPR. If this describes you, I suggest pondering quickly. There were 194 available when I started entering my pre-order. By the time I was done, they were down to 190. They're at 188 now, and it's the middle of the night. Posted on Dec. 2nd, 2008 at 03:49 am. Dont rest your head.

May 26th, 2006. So I was reading Sir Bruce's report. On the various MMORPG's on display at E3 and he discussed Gods and Heroes. An MMORPG set in ancient rome. Up until that point, not much of the current or upcoming crop really captured my interest. This one could be good. I like that it's set in mythic Rome, about 300 BCE, rather than yet another pseudo-medieval Europe, Tolkeinesque setting. The combat moves are very nice, and I love the whole combat thing. And the community reps comments.

Random idea - dumnbunny

So I'm reading the default setting material in the D&D 4e corebooks as well as this article. A setting their loosely calling "points of light." One thing that jumps out at me is the description of isolated "settlements afflicted by troubles [that] can only hope for a band of heroes to arrive and set things right." Although there are some stark differences, that bit there reminds me strongly of the default setting in Dogs in the Vineyard. I'll have to give this some thought . This might be too goofy for y...
